Here are Forza Horizon 5's Finalised PC System Requirements - Can you run it?

Is your PC ready for Forza Horizon 5?

Xbox Game Studios and PlayGound Games have just released the finalised PC system requirements of Forza Horizon 5, massively upgrading the game’s original minimum system requirements while recommending that PC gamers utilise SSD-based storage mediums.

Thankfully, Forza Horizon 5’s minimum system requirements are ludicrously high on PC, supporting older mid-range graphics cards like AMD’s RX 470 and Nvidia’s GTX 970. Forza Horizon 5 will be a DirectX 12 title, and the game will only run on 64-bit Windows 10 (or newer) OS installs.

Forza Horizon 5 will occupy around 110GB of storage. SSD-based storage is recommended to deliver the fastest loading times. With new consoles like the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S using SSD-based storage, it is possible that some of Forza Horizon 5’s highest PC settings may need SSD storage speeds to run properly, such as high-resolution texture streaming and other advanced settings.

Forza Horizon 5’s Minimum System Requirements have been massively upgraded

As mentioned previously, Forza Horizon 5 was originally listed for PC with much lower PC system requirements. For reference, we have listed the game’s original PC system requirements, which require the use of lower-end graphics cards, processors and an older build of Windows 10.

Now, Forza Horizon 5’s minimum system requirements are similar to Forza Horizon 4’s recommended system requirements, highlighting how much the gaming market has progressed in recent years. It is likely that Forza Horizon 5’s lowest graphics settings will look much better than Forza Horizon 4’s, given the game’s higher minimum hardware requirements.

Below are Forza Horizon 5’s original minimum system requirements.
