Is your PC ready for the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition? 

Thanks to the GTA Forums member alloc8or, the full PC system requirements of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition have leaked online, revealing the hardware that PC gamers will need to replay these remastered editions of the Grand Theft Auto series’ PS2 era classics. 

Alongside these system requirements, Alloc8or has also released excerpts of what appears to be a Press Release related to the trilogy, which promises new lighting techniques, environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances and GTA V-style controls. 

With these new releases, the first three 3D Grand Theft Auto games should look and play better than ever, making these three classic titles much more replayable.

The good news is that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition has modest PC system requirements. The game’s recommended system requirements are incredibly low-end by today’s standards, and the game’s recommended graphics cards include Nvidia’s GTX 970 graphics card from 2014. This means that all mid-range of better gaming PCs from the past five years should be able to run Rockstar’s updated GTA Trilogy with ease. 

Minimum requirements:

– Intel Core i5-2700K / AMD FX-6300
– Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
– 8 GB RAM
– 45 GB Storage Space
– Windows 10

Recommended:

– Intel Core i7-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
– Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB / AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB
– 16 GB RAM
– 45 GB Storage Space
– Windows 10

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition will launch on PC exclusively on the Rockstar launcher. At this time, Rockstar Games has not revealed the trilogy for any alternative PC storefronts.
