Until November 12th at 11 am GMT, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy will be available for free to PC gamers through Ubisoft Connect, the PC platform formerly known as Uplay.

The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy is a collection of three 2.5D side-scrolling platformers that are based within the Assassin’s Creed universe, taking place in China, India and Russia. These three games are unlike all other games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, offering players a unique gameplay experience and a look into the lives of Assassins across the world and from vastly different time periods.

Assassin’s Creed China starts Shau Jun, who was previously present in the Assassin’s Creed Embers animation. Shau Jun is mentioned elsewhere in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, having trained under Ezio Auditore and been credited as the inventor of Assassin’s Creed 3’s rope dart weapon.

In Assassin’s Creed India, players control Arbaaz Mir in 1841, a character who was previously present in the Assassin’s Creed: Brahman graphic novel.

Lastly, there is Assassin’s Creed Russia, which takes place during the Russian Revolution. This makes Assassin’s Creed Russia the most recent game in the Assassin’s Creed timeline, outside of the current day sections of mainline Assassin’s Creed games. In this game, players assume the role of Nikolai Orelov, who is also present in The Fall and The Chain Assassin’s Creed comic books.

PC gamers can redeem their free copy of Assassin’s Creed Chronicles through Ubisoft Connect here.
