Steam’s 2021 Winter Sale has started

Prepare your wallets, as its time for another Steam Sale, one of those glorious times of year where PC games, including recent releases, are available for significantly lower prices. For the next two weeks, Steam users will be able to buy many games on the platform at significantly reduced prices, which is great news for all budget-conscious gamers.

One thing to keep in mind this year is that many of Steam’s current offers are available on the Epic Games Store, and Epic’s giving PC gamers a £10/$10 discount on games sold for over £14.99/$14.99, in addition to each game’s already reduced sales price. For example, Death Stranding cam be purchased for £16.49 on Steam, and £9.24 on the Epic Games Store (when Epic’s £10 voucher is included).

Great offers available during Valve’s 2021 Winter sale include The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition, which is currently £6.99 (80% discount), Deathloop, which is available for £24.99 (50% discount), and Dark Souls III, which costs £9.99 (75% discount).

Starting today, and until January 3rd, Steam users can now vote for games as part of “The Steam Awards”, where gamers gamers get to choose 2021’s best games on Steam. These awards include “Game of the Year”, “VR Game of the Year”, Best Soundtrack”, “Outstanding Story-Rich Game”, and “Most Innovative Gameplay”.
