PowerColor reveals their RX 7900 XT/XTX Red Devil series graphics cards

PowerColor’s new RX 7900 XT/XTX Red Devil graphics card is around four slots thick

PowerColor has now officially revealed their RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX Red Devil series graphics cards, revealing a huge graphics card that appears to be over three slots thick. 

With their Red Devil series, PowerColor appears to be preparing two models, standard edition cards and “limited edition” cards. Limited Edition models featuring replaceable backplate covers, a feature that allows Red Devil GPU users to customise their graphics card. 

Like most custom RX 7900 XT/XTX graphics card designs, PowerColor’s Red Devil GPU models feature three axial fans and three 8-pin PCIe power inputs. PowerColor’s new Red Devil GPUs feature ring blade fans that feature nine fan blades that are supported by an outer ring. PowerColor has claimed that these new fan can reduce GPU thermals by three degrees when compared to their last-generation GPU fans.    

PowerColor’s new Red Devil series RX 7900 XT/XTX graphics cards will sit on the more premium end of PowerColor’s RX 7900 series designs, costing more than their already announced RX 7900 Hellhound series graphics cards.

With their Red Devil series graphics cards, PowerColor are offering their customers a larger heatsink, an additional 8-pin power input, and a larger heatsink that appears to feature more heatpipes than its Hellhound series counterpart. 

AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 series graphics cards are launching on December 13th.
