New RTX TITAN GPU Renders Leaks Showcasing Quad-Slot Dual 16-pin design

It looks like Nvidia has built an RTX TITAN “Ada” prototype and it is massive

Thanks to Moore’s Law is Dead, images and renders of a new Nvidia RTX TITAN prototype have leaked onto the web, showcasing a huge 4-slot graphics card that features two 16-pin (12HPWR) power inputs. 

Nvidia’s new RTX TITAN graphics card is likely to utilise Nvidia’s full fat AD102 GPU silicon, the same GPU silicon that was used to create the company’s RTX 4090. Nvidia has left a lot of silicon untapped with their AD102 GPU core, leaving room for Nvidia to create an RTX 4090 Ti graphics card in the future that is significantly more powerful than today’s RTX 4090. Now it looks like Nvidia’s AD102 silicon could be used to create a new RTX Titan class graphics card, not an RTX 4090 Ti.

At this time, it is unknown if Nvidia plans to release their RTX TITAN “Ada” graphics card. All today’s leak confirms is that Nvidia were considering such a product. If Nvidia were to release a new Titan graphics cards, PC builders can expect pricing levels of $2,000 or higher. Titan series graphics cards always carry premium prices and features that standard GeForce graphics cards lack.

The fact that Nvidia’s RTX TITAN prototype appears to feature two 16-pin (12VHPWR) connectors implies that Nvidia’s new TITAN series graphics card has a higher TDP than Nvidia’s RTX 4090. Each 16-pin power cable is rated to handle up to 600 watts of power, implying that Nvidia’s RTX TITAN has a TDP of over 600W. With this in mind, it makes sense why Nvidia’s RTX Titan heatsink is four slots wide.

If Nvidia released an RTX TITAN graphics card using AD102 silicon, the graphics card would feature 18176 CUDA cores and 48GB of GDDR6X memory. For context, Nvidia’s RTX 4090 has 16284 CUDA cores and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory. This would give Nvidia’s RTX TITAN almost 12% more CUDA cores than an RTX 4090, which is a significant upgrade.
