AMD's now giving away Company of Heroes 3 with Ryzen 5000 series CPUs

Company of Heroes 3 is now available for free with AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processors

AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processors, while old, can offer gamers a lot of value. Yes, AMD has released their new Ryzen 7000 series processors, but the high cost of AM5 motherboards and DDR5 memory make a Ryzen 7000 series upgrade an expensive proposition. For users of older AMD Ryzen CPUs on AM5 motherboards, AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series chips offer gamers an affordable upgrade path, offering users higher levels of gaming performance without the need to purchase a new motherboard or DRAM. Beyond that, AM4 motherboards and DDR4 memory are now available for bargain prices.

To add extra value into the mix, AMD are now giving away free copies of Company of Heroes 3 away with Ryzen 5000 series processors. This game should come in the form of the game’s Steam version, which is due to release on February 23rd.

Company of Heroes 3 is a World War 2 strategy game that focuses on the Mediterranean, specifically on Italy and North Africa. The game will feature both real-time battles and an almost Total War-like turn-based campaign map. The game is said to feature the “biggest single player campaign in franchise history” and feature a “tactical pause” for players who want more time to consider their strategies. Company of Heroes 3 is larger in scope and more accessible than its predecessors.

Looking at the chart above, it looks like Company of Heroes 3 will be given away with all new Ryzen 5000 series processors, assuming that these processors are purchased from retailers who are participating in AMD’s promotion. AMD’s Ryzen 7 5800X3D should be of particular interest to gamers, being AMD’s strongest Ryzen 5000 series gaming processor.
