Dead Space 2 is now a pre-order bonus for Dead Space’s Remake on Steam

Dead Space’s Remake is due to release on January 27th on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, with the game’s PC version being available through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA App. 

On Steam, pre-orderers of Dead Space’s upcoming remake will receive a free copy of Dead Space 2’s original PC version, which released back in 2011. This free game offer is now available on the Epic Games Store or the EA app, making Steam the storefront of choice for Dead Space’s remake if you are interested in playing the game’s sequel.

With this pre-order bonus, Dead Space players on Steam will be able to play Dead Space 2 as soon as they finished the original’s remake. Currently, EA has revealed no plans to remake Dead Space 2, which means that there is no guarantee that Dead Space 2 will be remade anytime soon. 

Playing 2011’s Dead Space 2 immediately after Dead Space’s 2023 remake would be visually jarring, but it is nonetheless a neat free add-on for those who are interested in the game’s remake on PC. Do you think EA plans on remaking Dead Space 2?
