Microsoft's Outlooks and Teams services are suffering from global outages

Microsoft services suffer outages globally, leaving thousands unable to access key programs

Thousands of users globally have reported that they are unable to access key Microsoft services, with their Outlook email service and Teams communications services seeing the most severe problems. Microsoft has confirmed that they are investigating these outages, and that they are working on potential fixes.

Outside of Outlook and Teams, users of other Microsoft services like Office 365 and Xbox Live have also reported issues this morning, with some gamers reporting issues with cloud saves and other Xbox Online services. There have also been a spike in reported outages for the Microsoft Store on PC and Minecraft, suggesting that Microsoft is suffering from widespread server issues.

As part of their newest service update, Microsoft has confirmed that they have rolled back a networking change that they believe has caused today’s outages, and that they are monitoring their services to access the impact of this rollback as it takes effect. Hopefully this means that Microsoft’s services will return to normalcy within the next few hours.
