Nvidia's RTX 4070 launch schedule leaks

Nvidia’s RTX 4070 is expected to be “on shelf” in April

Thanks to Videocardz, we have gotten a look at some of Nvidia’s embargo information for their planned RTX 4070 graphics card, a GPU that is now due to be on store shelves in April. At this time, the reveal date of the graphics card is unknown, and the official “on shelf” date is simply listed as April, with no firm launch date.

Nvidia’s RTX 4070 is rumoured to feature 12GB of GDDR6X memory like the company’s more powerful RTX 4070 Ti and feature 5888 CUDA cores, which is almost 25% fewer CUDA cores than an RTX 4070 Ti. Currently the MSRP pricing for Nvidia’s RTX 4070 is unknown. The RTX 4070 is expected to utilise the new 12VHPWR connector for power, despite the GPU’s expected 200W TDP. 12VHPWR connectors are designed to deliver up to 600W of power, making a mere 200 watts child’s play for the connector.
