PowerColor’s RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil has been pictured

Here’s a look at PowerColor’s EK-cooled RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil

Thanks to CornerJack from Overclocking.com, we have gotten our first in-depth look at PowerColor’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil graphics card, the company’s new RNDA 3 flagship. 

PowerColor’s RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil is cooled using a custom EL water block, and based on the image below the graphics card appears to be using the same PCB design as PowerColor’s existing RX 7900 XTX Red Devil graphics card, featuring three 8-pin PCIe power connectors. 

The RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil’s custom water block comes pre-installed with a full cover backplate, which means that this graphics card will require users to build a custom liquid cooling loop for their systems in order to use this GPU. Alongside this graphics card, PowerColor and EK will provide users with a EK-LOOP leak tester, which will help users ensure that their liquid cooling loops are water tight before they fill the system with coolant.

At this time it is unknown if PowerColor plans to release an RX 7900 XT Liquid Devil graphics card. So far, we have only seen the GPU’s 24GB RX 7900 XTX model, though it is possible that a lower-end 20GB RX 7900 XT model is in the works.

In the image above, we can see that PowerColor’s RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil features a BIOS switch, which should allow users to switch between different BIOS profiles. In the image below, we can see that this BIOS switch is labelled as “BIOS OC/UNLEASH”, suggesting that one of this GPU’s BIOS profiles has a higher power limit than the other. 

Currently, the pricing and release date for the PowerColor/EK RX 7900 XTX Liquid Devil are unknown, but based on the release of these images, we can expect to receive this information soon.
