Cooler Master enhances their Mobius series with new 120 OC series models

Last year we had a look at Cooler Master’s Modius 120mm fans, and we loved them, and following on from their success, Cooler Master has enhanced their Mobius design with new Mobius 120 OC series fan models, upgrading the fan’s bearings, motor hub, and anti-vibration dampeners to deliver improve acoustic performance and support for higher fan RPMs. 

With a Low, Medium, and High speed switch on its cable, users of Cooler Master’s Mobius 120 OC fans can set their fans to a maximum RPM of 1500 RPM (Low), 2400 RPM (Medium), or 3200 RPM (High). This will allow users to adjust the speeds of their Mobius fans depending on if they are looking for silence or maximum cooling performance at any given time. 

Like other Mobius series fans, Cooler Master’s Mobius OC fans feature a ring-blade design that reinforces their fans to create a more rigid structure and reduce fan vibration to lower fan noise levels. A side effect of this fan design is that it is also harder for users to break fan blades, as fan blades are supported on both the outside and inside of the fan.

With pricing that is only a few pounds more than their standard mobius fans, Cooler Master’s new Mobius OC fans are a solid upgrade over their original counter parts, and a lot more versatile thanks to their fan speed switch. Below is what Cooler Master has to say about their latest fans.
