Diablo IV receives PC system requirements before the game's Open Beta

Diablo IV’s Open Beta is coming, and Ray Tracing is planned for Diablo IV post-launch

Diablo IV’s coming to PC on June 6th, and the game’s Open Beta will be starting on March 24th. To allow gamers to prepare for this beta, Blizzard has released PC system requirements for Diablo IV, allowing PC gamers to know if their PC is powerful enough to run Diablo IV with reasonable levels of performance.

As part of these system requirements, Blizzard has also confirmed that ray tracing is due to be added to Diablo IV as part of a post-launch update, and that the game will be a DirectX 12 title on PC.

Currently, Blizzard recommends that PC gamers own a system with an Intel Core i5 4670K or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X or better processor, and a GeForce GTX 970 or a Radeon RX 470 or better graphics card. 16GB of system memory and SSD storage are also recommended.

Knowing if your PC is also ready to reclaim Sanctuary from Lilith’s legions is crucial. We have provided both the minimum and recommended requirements for PC to point you in the right direction. During both the Open Beta and at launch, Diablo IV will not support ray tracing, but this is a feature we plan to add sometime after launch.
