The Outer Worlds upgraded Spacer’s Choice Edition is now available

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, the current-generation Remaster of Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds, is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, offering gamers improved visuals, a stronger AI, and all of the original games’ DLC content.

For existing owners of The Outer Worlds (and its DLC) on PC, gamers in the UK can upgrade to The Outer Worlds: Spacers Choice Edition for £5. On PC, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is available on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

Graphically this new version of The Outer Worlds will feature higher resolution visuals, enhanced environments, increased asset density, updated weather conditions, reworked character models, improved animations, and and a better depth of field effect. On modern consoles, Obsidian promises gamers better graphics and performance, suggesting that the game will run at 60 FPS on modern consoles.

As mentioned before, The Outer Worlds’ Spacer’s Choice Edition will feature the content of the base game and its Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos DLCs. The game will also feature a higher level cap, allowing players to make use of more of the game’s skill tree.
