The release of The Witcher 3's next major PC/console patch is immanent

The Witcher 3’s next set of patches could arrive later today on PC and consoles

Later today, CD Projekt Red expects to release their next set of patches for The Witcher 3, arriving on PC, Xbox Series X/S. PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Yes, the next set of patches for The Witcher 3 will arrive on current-gen and last-generation consoles, with the game’s Switch version being the only version not to receive an update.

With these new updates, CD Projekt Red are expected to implement new bug fixes and release new optimisations for the game’s “next-gen” edition on PC and current-generation consoles. Marcin Momot has stated that their new update will weight in at 2GB on PC, and between 10GB and 20GB on consoles. Full patch notes will be released when these updates arrive, so expect to hear more about the changes included in these updates when they launch.

CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Momot expects The Witcher 3’s next update to arrive later today, though unexpected delays would cause these patches to release tomorrow or at a later date.
