Star Wars Jedi: Survivor receives a new story trailer, and it looks incredible

Respawn gives gamers another glimpse of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Respawn Entertainment has released a new story trailer for Star Wars Jedi; Survivor, the highly anticipated sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. This trailer packs a mixture of gameplay and in-engine cutscenes, showcasing the game’s compelling visuals.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is due to release on April 28th, arriving on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game takes place five years after Fallen Order, with the galaxy falling deeper into the clutches of the Empire as it pushes its influence to its furthest reaches.

Players will take control of Cal Kestis once again, learning new skills to take on more challenging opponents as he continues to survive the aftermath of Order 66, the fall of the Jeda, and the rise of the galactic Empire.

In Jedi: Survivor, players will explore new planets, meet new allies and learn more of the Jedi’s lost secrets.

The dark times are closing in as Cal Kestis seeks out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire. Five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a more mature Cal Kestis must look beyond his lightsaber to find his destiny in the shadow of the Empire. Familiar friends and new allies – Cere Junda (Debra Wilson), Greez Dritus (Daniel Roebuck), Merrin (Tina Ivlev), and the newly introduced mercenary Bode Akuna (Noshir Dalal) – stand by Cal’s side against the Empire and galaxy’s most ruthless foes. Cal’s quest will take him to new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy, including Koboh, which is the home of the Bedlam Raiders.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes full advantage of the current generation of gaming hardware and will deliver the ultimate cinematic Jedi experience when the game launches on April 28 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

As a current-generation only title, Jedi Survivor is a lot more graphically impressive than its predecessor, moving beyond the limitations of Xbox One and PlayStation 5 to deliver more compelling visuals to gamers.
