Here’s a look at four of Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 models

Thanks to Videocardz, images of four RTX 4070 models from Gigabyte have leaked onto the web, revealing the company’s AERO OC, Gaming OC, Windforce 3X OC, and Eagle OC series GPU models. All of these GPU models are listed with 12GB of GDDR6X memory.

All of these GPU models are also expected to launch in the form of non-OC variants, which means that Gigabyte will be launching at least eight RTX 4070 GPU models. Gigabyte’s AERO and Gaming OC models will feature 12VHPWR connectors, while the lower-end Windforce 3X and Eagle models will feature traditional 8-pin power connectors.

Below we have the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Gaming OC 12GB, a graphics card which appears to ship with a 4-year warranty and a heatsink design that features three fan with RGB illuminated surrounds. This GPU features three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and a single HDMI 2.1 output.

Next up we have Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 AERO graphics card, a white RTX 4070 model that also features a triple-fan heatsink design and three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and a single HDMI 2.1 output. It is possible that this GPU features the same PCB design as Gigabyte’s Gaming OC model.

Moving down to the Windforce OC and we see that Gigabyte has slimmed down the heatsink of this lower cost RTX 4070 model. This GPU features a dual-slot heatsink design that features three fans. We cannot see any RGB elements on this GPU design, though it is likely that RGB illumination will be present in some form. This GPU model is said to be powered using an 8-pin PCIe power connector.

With Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Eagle we can see a GPU design that is similar to the RTX 4070 Windforce 3X, offering users a triple-fan dual-slot heatsink design. Like the other RTX 4070 models from Gigabyte, this GPU features three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and a single HDMI 2.1 output.

Unlike the other GPUs pictured, Gigabyte’s RTX 4070 Eagle and Windforce models will be powered using an 8-pin PCIe power connector, making it the only  RTX 4070 models from Gigabyte to not be powered by a 12VHPWR connector. This is likely due to the fact that the RTX 4070 Eagle and Windforce 3X models are due to be the cheapest RTX 4070 in Gigabyte’s lineup, which is due to ship at Nvidia’s rumoured MSRP price of $599.
