Persona 3 Remake footage surfaces online

It looks like ATLUS are working on a Persona 3 Remake

Rumour has it that ATLUS are working on a Persona 3 Remake alongside Persona 6, and it looks like we have finally gotten a glimpse of this new version of Persona 3.

While Persona 3 Portable was made available on modern platforms, including PC, earlier this year, there is demand for another version of Persona 3. Persona 3 is currently available in many forms, including Persona 3 (standard version), Persona 3 FES, and Persona 3 Portable. All versions of the game have their advantages and disadvantages, making none of these versions the “definitive” way to play Persona 3. Persona 3 Portable includes additional content and an alternative protagonist, but it removes the game’s 3D hubs and some other elements.

There is room in this word for a new version of Persona 3 that brings together the perks of all the other versions, creating the definitive Persona 3 experience. This is what ATLUS appears to be working on with their Persona 3 Remake, and apparent footage of the game has been leaked though Twitter.

Should ATLUS release a remade version of Persona 3, fans of the franchise will finally have a definitive way to play through the game, offering the best bits of all versions and perhaps even more on top of that.
