Cooler Master launches their Hyper 622 Halo dual-tower CPU cooler

Cooler Master promises “Double the Cooling” with their new Hyper 622 Halo RGB CPU heatsink

Cooler Master has today revealed their new Hyper 622 Halo heatsink, a new dual-tower CPU cooler that “doubles the cooling power” of its predecessor, thanks to the heatsink’s doubled cooling surface area.

With the Hyper 622 Halo comes two new Halo2 series fans, new 120mm fan designs that promised improved performance levels and supports “default ARGB spectrum lighting or full ARGB customization via 3-pin header connection”. The Hyper 622 Halo ships with two fans out of the box, some of Cooler Master’s high performance Cryofuze thermal compound, and will be available in both black and white forms.

Thanks to its doubling in heatsink surface area and its use of improved fans, Cooler Master expects their new Hyper 622 Halo heatsink to deliver much higher levels of cooling performance than its predecessor, while having an optimised hight of 157mm to fit within most PC case designs and support most DRAM kits.

See the full list of the Hyper 622 Halo’s new features and improvements below:

1. Automatic ARGB – Intuitive LED detection automatically provides ARGB spectrum lighting or full ARGB customization via a 3-pin header connection.
2. Case compatibility – Low-profile heatpipes optimized at a height of 157 mm, accommodate a wide variety of RAM and case configurations.
3. Premium aluminium Top Cover – Elegantly designed with an aluminium top cover, complete with Cooler Master’s iconic logo.
4. Two redesigned Halo² fans – Two pre-installed LED 120 mm Halo² fans featuring stunning lighting and improved fan performance.
5. Dual tower heat sink – A dual tower heat sink provides twice the cooling surface area and works in conjunction with the dual fans to deliver superior cooling.
6. 6-heatpipe design – A nickel-plated base with 6 uniform heatpipes provides complete CPU coverage and superior heat transfer efficiency.

Unfortunately, Cooler Master has not provided us with the UK pricing of their new Hyper 622 Halo Heatsink yet.
