Forza Horizon 5’s “High Performance” update delivers XeSS, 4 new vehicles, and more

Forza Horizon 5 now supports DLSS 3, XeSS, and FSR 2.2

Playground Games has released a new update for Forza Horizon 5 that is titled “High Performance”, adding multiple new vehicles to the game, the new Oval Circuit road race, and new content that will be available between April 27th and May 25th as part of the game’s “High Performance” series. 

On PC, Forza Horizon 5 has also gained support for Intel’s XeSS AI upscaler, which means that the game now supports XeSS, DLSS 3, and FSR 2, giving PC gamers plenty of upscaling options. This is a big deal for Playground Games, as Forza Horizon 5 didn’t originally support anti-aliasing solutions outside of MSAA and FXAA. Now only did Playground games add TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) to Forza Horizon 5, they have also added three temporal upscaling solutions, all of which deliver huge performance gains to users.

Forza Horizon 5 has also been optimised to deliver higher performance levels on PC when driving the Audi e-Tron, and to optimise the game’s Valle de Foreneos Dunes on Nvidia GPUs.
