Dead Space’s Remake now has a 90-minute free trail version on PC

PC gamers can now try out Dead Space’s 2023 remake using the game’s new 90-minute trial

EA has released a new 90-minute trial for Dead Space (Remake) on PC, allowing gamers on Steam to try out the sci-fi horror game before committing to purchasing the title. 

Steam’s trial for Dead Space will be available until May 29th, and until that time, the full game will be available with a 20% discount, making now a great time to try out and/or purchase Dead Space on PC. Sadly, this means that Dead Space’s trial will not be a permanently available on Steam, though it remains a great opportunity for interested gamers to try out the game on their systems. 

    The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space™ returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. This remake brings jaw-dropping visual fidelity, suspenseful atmospheric audio, and improvements to gameplay while staying faithful to the original game’s thrilling vision.

Isaac Clarke is an everyman engineer on a mission to repair a vast mining ship, the USG Ishimura, only to discover something has gone horribly wrong. The ship’s crew has been slaughtered and Isaac’s beloved partner, Nicole, is lost somewhere on board.

Now alone and armed with only his engineering tools and skills, Isaac races to find Nicole as the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura unravels around him. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the escalating terrors of the ship but his own crumbling sanity.  

Moving forward, we hope to see more games receive this “free trial” treatment on Steam, as it is a great opportunity for gamers to test out new titles before they commit to purchasing them. Yes, we would prefer to see permanently available demos for these games, but that doesn’t mean that limited-time trials aren’t useful or valuable.
