If anyone “Won” Sony’s 2023 PlayStation Showcase, it was PC

If anyone

Sony’s PlayStation Showcase 2023 was a surprisingly good event for PC gamers

Sony hosted their 2023 PlayStation Showcase last night, where the company revealed many new games that would be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 at some point in the future. Surprisingly, the event lacked many true PlayStation exclusives, and the majority of the games showcased will be available on multiple platforms either at or following their launch.

Almost all of the games showcased yesterday at Sony’s PlayStation Showcase will be coming to PC, with Foamstars being the only game that will lack a PC version. Yes, Final Fantasy XVI and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 are PlayStation 5 Exclusives, but Final Fantasy XVI has been confirmed to be a timed exclusive for Sony, and Sony would be foolish not to bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC at some point given the success of its predecessors on the platform.

Below is a list of the games that were present at Sony’s PlayStation Showcase. We have not included PlayStationVR2 games in this list.

A lot of PlayStation fans were disappointed by last night’s PlayStation Showcase, as many gamers expected to see new titles from Sony’s first party studios, developers like Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Bluepoint Games, Bend Studios, or Sucker Punch. Sony didn’t have a mayor new first party exclusive to reveal at their PlayStation Showcase, leaving gamers to wonder what Sony has coming following the release of Spider-Man 2.
