Nixxes’ next PlayStation to PC project is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Nixxes Software and Insomniac Games have confirmed that atchet & Clank: Rift Apart is now coming to PC, with a PC launch date of July 26th. The game will be coming to PC a little more than two years after the game’s PlayStation 5 launch, and on PC the game will support ultra-wide displays, enhanced ray tracing, and graphical options that will allow the game to scale from “ high-end PCs to portable PC gaming devices”. 

On PC, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will support performance-enhancing upscalers like Nvidia’s DLSS 3 technology, AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2 upscaler, and Intel XeSS. Additionally, the game will support Nvidia’s DLAA AI anti-aliasing technique and feature built-in support for Sony’s DualSense controller. 

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will support an unlocked framerate on PC, and support the ray tracing in the form of ray traced reflections (which were available on PlayStation 5), and ray traced exterior shadows, which will be exclusive to the game’s PC version.

On PC, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store, and based on the game’s Steam page’s mention of “portable PC gaming devices”, PC gamers should expect Rift Apart to be playable on Valve’s Steam Deck.
