Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will feature a Co-op campaign at launch

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is launching this Winter, and it will feature a 3-player co-op campaign

Suring Summer Games Fest, Focus Home Entertainment released a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, confirming that the game will be released “this Winter” and that the game will be playable in co-op with up to 3-players at launch.

The trailer below also drops a lot of interesting information about Space Marine 2’s setting and storyline, confirming that the Tyrannids are invading the worlds of Avarax and Kudaku. These two planets should add a lot of level variety to Space Marine 2, which should be a refreshing change from the rather samey look of most of Space Marine 1’s levels. For eagle-eyed watchers of the trailer below, there are hints that Space Marine 2 will feature space-based combat, the Deathwatch chapter, and some form of Chaos incursion.

As showcased in the Trailer, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 features a gripping narrative that follows fan-favorite Lieutenant Titus—powerfully portrayed by actor Clive Standen. After you get reinstated as a Space Marine, embody the superhuman skill and brutality of the greatest of the Emperor’s warriors. Unleash deadly abilities and an arsenal of devastating weaponry to obliterate the relentless Tyranid hordes. Thanks to the

, play the full campaign with friends or AI, and take on battles over and over, ever renewing the galactic warfare experience.

In co-op mode, Lieutenant Titus will be fighting alongside two other Ultramarines throughout Space Marine 2’s campaign. Space Marine 2’s full campaign should be playable in co-op, giving fans of the game a way to enjoy the game with friends.
