Star Wars Outlaws had been revealed by Ubisoft

Star Wars Outlaws is launching next year

Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Star Wars Outlaws is the first of a new wave of Star Wars titles that are in development at Ubisoft, focusing on the galaxy’s criminal underworld, and not on rebels, the Empire, or the Jedi. 

While the game has only been revealed for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, it is probable that this game is also coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. Star Wars Outlaws was revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase, which should explain why the game has only been revealed on Xbox Series X/S so far.

Below is Ubisoft’s brief description of the game, and the game’s world premiere trailer.  

     Experience the first-ever open world Star Wars™ game, set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.

Star Wars Outlaw is launching sometime in 2024. Gameplay for the game is due to be released within the next week, so expect to hear more about this game soon.
