Nvidia's RTX 4060 launch and review dates leak

Nvidia’s RTX 4060 has been set for a June 29th launch

Thanks to MEGAsizeGPU on Twitter, we now know Nvidia’s planned launch date for their RTX 4060 graphics card, which comes to us thanks to a leaked document that contains embargo dates and information.

Nvidia’s RTX 4060 graphics card is reportedly launching on June 29th, with reviews for MSRP models arriving one day before on June 28th. Reviews for premium, non-MSRP, RTX 4060 graphics cards will be available on launch day.

With an MSRP of $299 and 8GB of VRAM, Nvidia’s RTX 4060 will be a competitor to AMD’s recently released RX 7600 graphics card, which launched for a slightly lower $269 price tag. Like other RTX 40 series graphics cards, Nvidia’s RTX 4060 will feature support for AV1 Encoding and support for the company’s DLSS 3 technology.

With more and more games demanding more than 8GB of VRAM for Ultra settings, Nvidia’s RTX 4060 will be a hard sell for many savvy consumers. With Nvidia’s RTX 3060 featuring 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, many buyers will see Nvidia’s RTX 4060 as a downgrade over its predecessor in some regards, even with its added RTX 40 series features and increased compute performance.
