Inno3D launches RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 series graphics cards with “hidden” power cables

Inno3D’s making gaming PCs tidier with their new “hidden” power cable RTX 4070/4060 designs

Inno3D has just launched new RTX 4070, RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 4060 Twin X2 graphics card designs that offer users a new “hidden power cable” option that allows PC builders to create quieter systems. 

By routing their power cables through the graphics card, Inno3D has hidden the 8-pin PCIe power cables that are used to power their graphics cards and allowed users to easily route these cable out the back of their PCs in an almost invisible manner. These cable routing locations are accessible by users who remove part of the backplate of these new Inno3D graphics cards, a feature that makes PSU cables easy to install and easy to hide once installed. 

Currently, Inno3D has revealed no plans to utilise this hidden cable design on RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080, or RTX 4090 graphics cards, likely due to their use of 16-pin 12VHPWR PSU cables. These cables are harder to install, and are prone to issues when they are not inserted correctly. With this in mind, it makese sense that Inno3D has tested this concept with traditional 8-pin PCIe power cables.
