Nvidia price drop - GeForce RTX 40 series MSRPs lower in the UK

Nvidia has dropped the prices of their RTX 40 series Founders Edition graphics cards in the UK

This morning it was discovered that Nvidia’s RTX 40 series Founders Edition graphics cards have had their prices dropped in the UK, allowing UK buyers to grab these GPUs for slightly lower prices than normal.

These price drops were first discovered by @ghost_motley on Twitter, and we have taken Nvidia’s historical RTX 40 series Founders Edition prices and have compared them to what they are today. These pricing changes have likely come thanks to changes in currency exchange rates, with the weakened US dollar giving UK customers a small discount.

This is not the first time that the prices of Nvidia’s RTX 40 series Founders Edition graphics cards have dropped, with RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 prices dropping in December 2022. These prices were also due to currency fluctuations, so don’t expect Nvidia to drop the prices of their graphics cards in all global regions.

Pricing changes

– RTX 4090 – Launch Day £1,679 – Dec 2022 £1,579 – Now £1,519

– RTX 4080 – Launch Day £1269 – Dec 2022 £1,199 – Now £1,139

– RTX 4070 – Launch Day £589 – Now £569

– RTX 4060 Ti – Launch Day £389  – Now £379

Even with these price drops, Nvidia’s high-end RTX 40 series graphics cards remain expensive, and there are some places where you can buy RTX 40 series graphics cards at lower prices in the UK if you shop around. That said, you are unlikely to find prices that are much lower than this.
