Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III receives a new teaser ahead of its full reveal

Activision has promised a full Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III reveal on August 17th

Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be this year’s entry into the Call of Duty series, coming from Sledgehammer Games (not Infinity Ward), with full single-player and multi-player components.

The game’s latest teaser has confirmed that Vladimir Makarov will be returning as the game’s primary villain, and in a recent blog post Activision has confirmed that most content that players have collected from Modern Warfare II will be transferrable to Modern Warfare III when the game launches on November 10th.

Within their latest teaser for the game, Activision has confirmed that Modern Warfare III will be receiving a full “Worldwide Reveal” on August 17th. This reveal should showcase gameplay for Modern Warfare III, and details about what changes will be coming with Modern Warfare’s latest entry.

This year’s entry will be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, which saw Captain Price’s Task Force 141 team up with the Mexican Special Forces to dismantle a terrorist threat lead by Hassan Zyani.

The reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has put to rest rumours that Activision’s Call of Duty series was taking a break in 2023, confirming that gamers will receive a new Call of Duty game this year and that the game will be a sequel to Modern Warfare II. This means that the game will include a single player campaign and the series’ iconic multiplayer component.
