ASUS’ new ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM monitor packs everything that gamers could need in a 32-inch package

For many gamers, 32-inch screen sizes are ideal for their needs, offering users a sweet spot between size and resolution to deliver a users high quality images on a display that can comfortably fit on your desk. Now, ASUS are pushing the limits of this screen size with their ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, a 4K 240Hz OLED display that features strong HDR support, a matte finish, and a custom cooling solution. 

ASUS are calling this screen the “world’s first 32-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor”, promising gamers an early 2024 release date, inky blacks, and super bight 1,000 nits highlights. 

The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM uses a second generation Quantum Dot OLED screen panel with 0.03ms response times, and is equipped with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C inputs. This screen is G-Sync compatible and is FreeSync Premium certified.

To enable higher levels of HDR support than many other OLED displays, ASUS has created a custom passive heatsink solution and a screen panel that features a graphene film addition that that helps to sustain high brightness levels and low thermals. This heatsink solution helps to prevent burn-in by keeping the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM’s panel cool under load.

In the past, gamers needed to choose between high resolution monitors, high refresh rate monitors, and high quality monitors. No display offered everything, but that has now changed with the addition of ultra high refresh rate 4K OLED monitors to the market. With the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM gamers have a high quality 4K OLED display that can reach refresh rates of 240Hz, offering gamers an ideal balance between low latencies, high image quality, and high screen resolutions.
