Ready for Reload? Persona 3’s remake now has PC system requirements
You won’t need a monster PC to run Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload is coming to PC and consoles on February 2nd 2024, and PC gamers will be glad to know that this game does not have crazy high system requirements. While ATLUS and SEGA has promised a game that is “reborn for the modern era with cutting-edge graphics and gameplay”, the truth is that this game will be easy to run on modern PC hardware.
For the uninitiated, Persona 3 Reload is a modern remake of the original Persona 3, a new game that reimagines the original with modernised gameplay and visuals. If you are a fan of Persona 5, you will be glad to know that this remake of Persona 3 takes a lot of visual cues from its sequel, which means that gamers can expect a stylish UI and great visuals.
On PC, Persona 3 Reload will be easy to run. For the most part, the game’s PC system requirements are the same as Persona 5 Royal, which launched on PC in 2022. This means that all PCs that can run Persona 5 should be able to run Persona 3 Reload. The only major change to Persona 3 Reload’s PC system requirements over its predecessor is the game’s move from DirectX 11 to DirectX 12.
To play Persona 3 Reload on PC, Atlus recommends a system with an i7-4790 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 760 2GB graphics card. The game’s minimum requirements drop the game’s GPU requirement lower to a GTX 650 Ti 2GB. To say the least, these system requirements are incredibly low, which means that most PC gamers should be able to run this game at 1080p 60 FPS with ease, if not higher resolutions and framerates.
These low system requirements should make Persona 3 Reload a great game for handheld PC gaming systems like Valve’s Steam Deck and ASUS’ ROG Ally. Both of these systems surpass Persona 3 Reload’s system requirements, though it remains to be seen if the game will play well on Valve’s SteamDeckOS.Â
